Use this dialog to download BenchVue software updates.
With an Internet connection, BenchVue can automatically check for software updates at the time the application is launched. From the main Global Settings menu, you can specify the interval at which the application will check for software updates (every 1, 7, 30, or 90 days); the default is every 7 days. To disable automatic checking for updates, select "Never" from the drop-down list.
Note: An Internet connection is required to download these updates. If you experience any problems downloading software updates due to your corporate network security policies, contact your local IT Department for more information.
To determine if any new software updates are available, BenchVue temporarily connects to an external Keysight server. A search is made to determine if updates are available for the main BenchVue application as well as all bench applications that are currently present in the BenchVue Instrument Panel. While downloading software updates, no files or any other personal information are transmitted.
Check for Updates - Click this button to check for the latest updates for the main BenchVue application and the Instrument Library database. Click "Update" to get the latest updates. For instrument applications, software updates are provided with a valid Software Support Subscription. Go to the BenchVue Applications view to check on the status of any subscriptions.
